Independent assessment
Reports are prepared by independent gemological laboratories. They describe the diamond examined rather than endorsing the jeweller selling it.
DIAMOND CERTIFICATION & GRADING
A grading report brings clarity to one of life’s most meaningful purchases. We help you understand the stone, the report and the details that make it yours.

Reports are prepared by independent gemological laboratories. They describe the diamond examined rather than endorsing the jeweller selling it.
A unique report number lets you confirm the archived grading information directly with the issuing laboratory.
We translate the technical details into practical choices about beauty, proportion and value for your priorities.
READING THE REPORT
The 4Cs provide a shared language for comparing diamonds. A report may also document measurements, proportions, polish, symmetry, fluorescence, origin and identifying characteristics.
How precisely the facets interact with light, influencing brilliance, fire and scintillation.
A measured assessment of colour, recorded against the laboratory’s established grading scale.
A description of inclusions and surface characteristics observed under controlled magnification.
The diamond’s weight, measured precisely and reported to the hundredth of a carat.

REPORTS WE OFFER
Selected Elysian diamonds are accompanied by grading reports from IGI or GIA. Availability depends on the individual stone and is confirmed before purchase.
GIA reports document the assessed quality characteristics of the submitted diamond. GIA describes diamonds as graded, rather than certified.
Verify with GIAIGI reports identify natural or laboratory-grown origin and document the diamond’s value-setting quality characteristics.
Verify with IGITHE ELYSIAN APPROACH
Before you choose, we can walk through the grading report with you, compare stones side by side and explain where differences are visible—and where they are simply numbers on paper.
Shape, size, brilliance, budget and the way the diamond will be worn.
Understand origin, grades, measurements and any relevant comments.
Experience the stone itself, because a report informs beauty—it does not replace it.
A NOTE ON TERMINOLOGY
A laboratory grading report records the characteristics observed at the time of examination. It is not an appraisal, valuation or guarantee of future value. Elysian Jewels is an independent retailer and is not affiliated with or endorsed by IGI or GIA.
